Technology exists that allows us to embed a PowerPoint presentation directly onto a Web page so that users can view the content of the presentation without needing to download it or open it with PowerPoint software (which many off-campus users do not have.)

The university has an account on the Web site Slideshare, which allows you to upload standard Microsoft PowerPoints. The site then converts them into an object that can be embedded into your Web site and viewed by anyone directly in their internet browser. Here’s an example of how it looks:
