All elements of the Teacher Work Sample must be passed (75% or above) before a passing grade can be issued in CE499, EX499, EL499 or EF400. A failure to earn a passing score on the TWS will delay graduation and certification.

*If a revision is needed beyond the 2nd revision, it will require a meeting between student, appropriate faculty, and/or chairperson.

Remember, Southeast Missouri State University’s approved teacher education program requires two full eight week placements; therefore, absences during student teaching must be made up unless prior approval has been given due to unique circumstances.  The absences must be approved by the Student Teaching Supervisor and the Coordinator of Clinical Experiences.
