Maggie Eisenhart was a Southeast cheerleader for four years, and even now, her enthusiasm for the University bubbles over when she recalls her experiences.

A 1995 Southeast graduate, Maggie is currently a sales representative for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.  She says her studies at Southeast prepared her well.

“Most of my class work that involved presentations and market knowledge has helped in my job,” Maggie said.  “It gave me an opportunity to ‘sell’ in front of my peers and practice for the real world. I feel Southeast prepared me for life’s experiences.”

A very involved student, Maggie says her Southeast memories are so numerous, it is difficult to name a favorite.

“One of the things that sticks out most in my mind is the people,” Maggie said.  “There are so many wonderful people who made the difference in my college experience.  I met so many friends as well as faculty who made an impression on my college career.  Since I was a cheerleader for four years, many of my favorite moments were cheering at football and basketball games, especially against Murray State.  Of course, the winning games were the best!”

After receiving her bachelor of arts degree in communications, Maggie went on to work for Pfizer, representing its products to several types of physicians.

“I provide clinical information regarding the products I represent,” Maggie explained.  “I call on primary care and internal medicine physicians, and also some specialty physicians. I enjoy my job because each day is different.  I have the opportunity to meet and work with a variety of individuals.  I work in a competitive field, and I strive to meet my objectives and exceed expectations.”

Outside of work, Maggie enjoys spending time with family and friends, and teaches dance at a dance school in the St. Louis area.  She gives lessons in ballet, jazz, and tap to a variety of ages.  She also enjoys traveling to Hawaii, saying that its beauty is impossible to express even in pictures.  She hopes to visit Ireland one day in the future.

A resident of Florissant, Mo., Maggie lives in her hometown with her husband.  She has many aspirations for her future, and hopes to move forward in her career at Pfizer, being as successful as possible.
