Environmental Health & Safety

Environmental Health & Safety is a division of Facilities Management that assists the campus community in providing and maintaining a safe, healthy work environment for students, faculty, and staff and promotes environmental stewardship.

The University will follow, where applicable, the latest regulations and standards of these agencies: Occupational Safety and Health Administration, United States Environmental Protection Agency, Missouri Department of Natural Resources, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.   This list is not all-inclusive, but does cite the major agencies whose codes, standards, and regulations will be utilized.  The Vice President for Business and Finance is responsible for assuring that Operating Procedures are developed to implement policies.
