Applying for and Maintaining an FFR Core Continuing Grant

Eligibility: Any full-time faculty or staff member who has been a proposer for a previously funded Implementation or University Initiative Grant may apply. The first-listed proposer will be responsible for all reporting and for budget management

Application

Submission: Submit one copy in the dropbox and one hard copy with all the required signatures to the Office of the Provost by 5:00 PM on the last Monday in November. For the Dropbox use FFR Proposal for the username and submit for the password.
Narrative: The narrative for the FFR Core Continuing Grant proposals must be no more than one page that addresses the following issues:

A brief summary of the nature of the project and its FFR funding history.

Evidence that the program will be of value to the entire university, not just a department or a college.

An account of endeavors to achieve funding, without success, from sources other than FFR. This evidence could include (1) proposals to deans, the Provost, the President, or other university administrators; (2) proposals submitted to the Budget Review Committee or to other university committees that provide funding; or (3) proposals to external granting agencies.
Budget: The budget form for FFR Core Continuing Grants must be used.

Maintaining the Grant

Budget: At the end of each fiscal year the primary proposer will submit a budget summary to the FFR committee.
Evaluation: At the end of each fiscal year the primary proposer will submit a summary of the evaluative measures of the success of the program. This summary should be combined with the budget summary, which is submitted to the FFR committee.
