Our next Phi Kappa Phi Meeting will be at 5:15 p.m. in the Honors House (603 North Henderson).  We will be making plans for the Phi Kappa Phi / Phi Eta Sigma Initiation Ceremony at 2 pm on Sunday, April 15, 2012, in the Show Me Center.

Initiation

Phi Kappa Phi members are invited to join and are initiated in the spring semester. Initiation for Spring 2012 is scheduled for 2 p.m. on April 15 in the Show Me Center.  The speaker will be Dr. Harold Hager, the first president of Phi Kappa Phi Chapter 260 and former chair of the Department of Mathematics at Southeast. 

Phi Kappa Phi members are inducted in a joint ceremony with Phi Eta Sigma members.  Phi Eta Sigma is the honor society for first-year students.

Honors Convocation

Phi Kappa Phi members, who are not graduating, usher for both the Spring and Fall Honors Convocation that takes place the morning of Commencement.  During the Honors Convocation, all Phi Kappa Phi graduates are recognized.  They also receive a special ribbon to wear with their gown.
