Readers’ Theater Presentation to Celebrate Faulkner, Warren, Twain

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Oct. 22, 2012 – Three world-famous authors will take center stage during the Faulkner and Warren Conference being sponsored by the Center for Faulkner Studies.
“William Faulkner, Robert Penn Warren, and Mark Twain: Storytellers,” a readers’ theater presentation scripted and directed by Dr. Roseanna Whitlow, instructor of communications studies at Southeast Missouri State University, will be presented on Friday, Oct. 26, at 7 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom.
The three authors will be portrayed, respectively, by Patrick Abbott, Dr. Robert Hamblin, and Lester Goodin.
The program, which is supported by a grant from the Missouri Humanities Council, is free and open to the public.
