Regents Reappoint Mangels to Show Me Center Board of Managers

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Dec. 8, 2010 – The Southeast Missouri State University Board of Regents today reappointed Kathy Mangels, vice president for finance and administration and University treasurer, to serve as a Southeast representative on the Show Me Center Board of Managers.

Mangels’ term will expire Dec. 1, 2013. Mangels has served two previous terms on the Board.

The Multi-use Center Agreement between the City of Cape Girardeau and Southeast Missouri State University calls for both the City Council and the Board of Regents to each appoint three members to the Show Me Center Board of Managers. Terms of appointment are for three years, and appointments are to be staggered so only two members are appointed each year.

In addition to Mangels, University representatives on the board are Troy Vaughn, director of recreation services; and Dr. Beth Easter, assistant professor of health, human performance and recreation. City representatives on the board are Luke Landgraf, Cordell Dombrowski and Scott Meyer, city manager for the City of Cape Girardeau.
