Southeast Announces Foreign Language Festival Winners

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., April 1, 2009 - Over 350 students from area schools participated in the Department of Foreign Languages and Anthropology’s annual Foreign Language Festival held March 26 on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.   

Students participated in spelling bee and prose reading competitions in French, German and Spanish.  A scavenger hunt featured clues written in foreign languages.  Non-competitive events included musical performances, skits and recitations.  Winners in the competitive events are listed below:

French Spelling Bee Level One:
