Recreation Services to Lead Day Hike on Sheppard Point Trail

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Feb. 14, 2008 – Recreation Services will lead a day hike on Sheppard Point Trail on Saturday, Feb. 23.

All ages are welcome to join this free guided hike.  Participants should be ready for a rigorous two-mile hike, ascending to the top of a bluff which overlooks the Mississippi River.

Participants will depart from the Student Recreation Center–North upper parting lot at 2 p.m. Participants must provide their own transportation.
