Sigma Nu Member Memorialized Through Scholarship
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., Jan. 23, 2008 - Michael and Linda Hudson of Keller, Texas, have established an endowed scholarship at Southeast Missouri State University in honor of their son, Mark, who passed away in November 2006.
Hudson was a sophomore at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. An active member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, he was dedicated to the chapter, the fraternity as a whole, and helping friends and brothers in need.
In Mark’s spirit, candidates for the scholarship will be selected based on extraordinary service to others and an interest in pursuing a business degree. The scholarship recipient must also have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 and be a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity.
Michael and Linda Hudson, originally from St. Louis, Mo., are both graduates of Southeast and maintain strong ties to the University. The family welcomes additional contributions to the endowment. Contact the Southeast Missouri University Foundation for more information on the scholarship.
