CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo., July 25, 2007 -- Southeast Public Radio announces plans to air a special edition of "Bob Edwards Weekend" featuring songwriter Randy Newman. The program will air at 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, following a "Weekend Edition Sunday."
Recorded live on March 30 at Seattle's famed Paramount Theater, "Bob Edwards and Randy Newman" showcases a great host and a grand artist in a rich, full hour of music and conversation. Bob and Randy discuss everything from politics and music to world history and songwriting.
