Prefix Policy

The following course prefixes will be employed for courses offered in and developed by the Department of Music:

MM  Music Theory and Musicianship

MH  Music History and Music Literature

MP  Applied Music

ME  Music Education and Techniques

MU Non degree-specific music courses, University Studies (lower division) courses, music electives and ensembles

UI    Interdisciplinary University Studies/Music courses (upper division)
