Courtney is currently pursuing her Masters in TESOL while performing her duties as a teaching assistant at Southeast.  She earned her B.A. with an emphasis in History and Spanish from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.  In addition, Courtney studied abroad at the University of Reading in Reading, England and the University of Costa Rica in San Jose, Costa Rica.  While studying in Costa Rica, Courtney taught EFL at the Centro Cultural Costarricense Norteamericano and later at a bilingual primary school.  Before coming to Southeast, Courtney taught Spanish at the high school level in Arkansas.  She loves attending art exhibits, participating in cultural events, spending time with her family, and cooking.
