After 10 years in the workforce I started college at Southeast in the fall of 2009 and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in historic preservation in May 2012. I am currently a graduate assistant in the department of history. I also serve as a member of the executive board of directors for the Stars and Stripes Military Library & Museum in Bloomfield, Missouri.
My research interests include 19th century American cultural history, American religious history, Victorian spiritualism, history of American architecture, and public history. I am currently researching early Pentecostalism and race in southern Appalachia.
I enjoy spending time with my wife Jodi and my five year old son Aiden. I love to travel and am a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.
