Dr. Faber received his bachelor of arts in psychology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and his master's of arts and Ph.D in child development and family studies with a specialization in marriage and family therapy from Purdue University. 

Dr. Faber is a Certified Family Life Educator and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. His interests and specialties include divorced and remarried families, military families and attachment theory/Emotionally Focused Therapy. He is also the faculty sponsor for the Family Development Club.
