Dr. Easter is the director of the sport management program, teaching courses in sport management and in the athletic administration option of the Master of Arts in Higher Education. She has more than 12 years of experience in sport through coaching and athletic administration and six years of teaching experience in higher education. Prior to coming to Southeast Missouri State University she was an associate professor in sport management at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. She is a member of the International Association of Assembly Managers, the Sport Marketing Association, the Sport and Recreation Law Association, and the North American Society for Sport Management. Dr. Easter's research interests include organizational culture in the sport industry, public relations in sport organizations and legal aspects of sport.
