In 1998, Southeast entered into a direct exchange agreement with the Université d'Angers in Angers, France. Angers, a city with 250,000 inhabitants, is situated in the Loire Valley in the west of France.
Southeast has entered into a direct exchange agreement with FSU in Jena, Germany, a university founded in 1548 by Elector Johann Friedrich of Saxony. Jena, with its 100,000 inhabitants, is linked with many German philosophers and writers.
Southeast has a direct exchange agreement with the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Madrid, Spain. Situated in the center of Spain, this metropolis is best known for the Prado, one of the world's oldest and finest art collections.
