MINUTES OF THE FACULTY SENATE MEETING

SPECIAL EXECUTIVE SESSION

December 11, 2009

The Faculty Senate of Southeast Missouri State University met Friday, December 11, 2009, in the Johnson Faculty Center. The following Senators were present:  Stephanie Chamberlain (Chair), Sophia Scott (Chair-Elect), Janice Ward (Membership Chair), Al Hayward (Alternate), Julie Banks, Brandon Christensen, Mike Cobb, Kathy Conway, Kevin Dickson, Alan Journet, David Powell, Willie Redmond, Joyce Renaud, Rick Sebby, Raj Somarajan, Sven Svenson, and Ann White (Alternate).

EXECUTIVE SESSION

The Senate voted unanimously to recommend emerita status for Jane Stephens. Senator Journet moved; Senator Somarajan seconded.

ADJOURNMENT

The meeting adjourned at 12:05 p.m. Senator Journet moved; Senator Conway seconded.

The next Faculty Senate meeting will be Wednesday, February 3, at 3:00 p.m., in the Missouriana Room of the University Center.
