RECOMMENDATION FOR EMERITUS/EMERITA STATUS

BE IT RESOLVED THAT:  the Faculty Senate of Southeast Missouri State University recommends that emeritus/emerita status be conferred upon the following faculty members upon their respective retirements:

Department of Educational Leadership and Counseling

            I. Sue Shepard, Professor of Educational Leadership

            Retirement Effective: May 31, 2008

            Period of Service:  1992 – 2008

Department of Elementary, Early, and Special Education

            Ann Porter Gifford, Professor of Elementary, Early, and Special Education 

            Retirement Effective: August 4, 2008

            Period of Service:  1991 – 2008

College of Liberal Arts

Department of English

            Michael Hogan, Professor of English

            Retirement Effective: August 4, 2008

            Period of Service:  1965 – 2008
