RECOMMENDATION FOR EMERITUS/EMERITA STATUS

BE IT RESOLVED THAT:  the Faculty Senate of Southeast Missouri State University recommends that emeritus status be conferred upon the following faculty member upon his retirement:

College of Liberal Arts

Department of Art

            Samuel E. Bishop, Professor

            Retirement Effective: December 31, 2006

            Period of Service:  1968 - 2006

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT:  the Faculty Senate of Southeast Missouri State University recommends that emerita status be conferred upon the following faculty member upon her retirement:

Harrison College of Business

Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems

            La Vonne Huter, Assistant Professor

            Retirement Effective: May 31, 2007

            Period of Service:  1965 - 2007
