The Missouri Research Corporation (MRC) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) corporation that operates under the auspices of Southeast Missouri State University and supports the mission and activities of the Douglas C. Greene Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The MRC established the Southeast Innovation Center in 2005 to develop, grow and retain new businesses that will increase the number and quality of jobs in the region. In 2011, the Southeast Innovation Center was named for Douglas C. Greene. Mr. Greene is a long-time supporter and advisor to the entrepreneurship program at Southeast.
