Course Paper Guidelines

Students wishing to pursue a thesis option (3 or 6 credit hours) should enroll in EA-694 Thesis. If this option is chosen, it may be substituted for 3 or 6 hours of electives from section B or C.

A person cannot be certified in Missouri without successfully passing an assessment process directed by the Leadership Academy (Assessment Center) of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The test will be six hours in length. Missouri administrators must hold a valid teaching certificate prior to qualifying for the administrator certificate and have a minimum of two years teaching experience. Also, all educators in Missouri must take EX-390 Psychology and Education of the Exceptional Child or a graduate course in Education of the Exceptional Child.
