Accrediting Institutions
Southeast Missouri State University educator preparation programs are accredited by
- the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE)
- the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)
Southeast Missouri State counseling programs are accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
Teacher Candidate Performance Data
As a part of ongoing efforts at program improvement, the College of Education regularly collects data on teacher candidate performance. Much of this data is included in reports related to accreditation and government oversight.
