Matching Success Awards are available to first year students, new entering transfers and returning students with less than 60 credit hours.
Criteria
First Year Student
- Minority Student
- 2.75 High School GPA or higher
- Live in University residence hall first two years
- Demonstrate financial need based on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid
for beginning freshman - Early Estimator Software may be used to determine
initial eligibility to be confirmed by actual FAFSA data processed by March 1 - Community and extracurricular activities
- Full-time enrollment
Value: $500-$1,800 per academic year to match all or portion of contributed scholarships, non-University merit or achievement scholarships, federal or state financial aid.
Transfer or Returning student
- Minority student
- Less than 60 credit hours
- Minimum 2.75 GPA or higher
- Live in University residence hall through sophomore year
- Demonstrate financial need based on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) obtained
by the March 1 priority processing date - Participation in campus and learning activities
- Full-time enrollment
