Abstract CollageInterested in painting but don’t want to feel pressured to create something realistic? Then take this class! Let your artistic side come to life and spend an evening exploring abstract painting using acrylics and additives on a stretched canvas. Dive in and explore this media all for the pure joy of painting, expression, and experimentation! All levels of artists/crafters are welcome in this class.

Embellished Furniture Techniques

Decopauge DresserHave a tired, outdated piece of furniture? Bring it to this class and repurpose it with a one-of-a-kind design for your home! Using simple decopauge techniques using paper, fabric, and more, you will leave this class with a seemingly new piece of furniture that will spark conversation and add new life to your home. All you need to bring is your own piece of furniture and fabric/paper. All other materials and tools will be supplied. In just two sessions, your piece will be finished and ready to take home!

Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults attend free of charge with child registration.

Rosetta Whitten

Rosetta has been a lifelong resident of southeast Missouri and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Southeast Missouri State University. She now resides in Cape Girardeau and owns Cateye Glasses Studio. She has a lifetime of experience as an artist and has offered private instruction to individuals for over 18 years. She has also received awards for her work in found object assemblage, painting and drawing.
