Blotner Papers being inventoried on CFS Web site

A detailed inventory of the correspondence and interview notes that Joseph Blotner compiled during his research and writing of Faulkner: A Biography (2-volume edition, 1974; 1-volume revised edition, 1984) is being added to the Center for Faulkner Studies Web site.  To access this information, follow the Blotner Papers hyperlinks on the site.

L. D. Brodsky acquired the Blotner Faulkner files for the Brodsky Collection in 1989.  Joel Williamson, who used the materials in researching his William Faulkner and Southern History, has called the Blotner Papers "one of the finest research archives in the United States."  Faulkner researchers interested in using the Blotner materials should contact Robert Hamblin, director of the Center for Faulkner Studies.
