CFS issues limited edition print of John Faulkner's painting of Red Leaves

In collaboration with M. C. "Chooky" Falkner, the Center for Faulkner Studies has issued a limited edition color print of John Faulkner's painting of a scene from William Faulkner's short story, "Red Leaves."

Limited to 100 copies and signed by M. C. Falkner, the artist's son, the special edition print depicts the Indian chief Ikemotubbe seated on the foredeck of his steamboat as the boat is pulled through the river bottom by dozens of Indians and slaves. John Faulkner created the painting in 1957.

Purchase price of the special print is $100, with proceeds going to the Faulkner Center's endowment that funds annual lectures by visiting Faulkner scholars or Southern writers.
