Alisa McFerron joined the admissions team in July 2007. She is the Assistant Director of Admissions for Operations.

Originally from De Soto, Mo., Alisa graduated from Southeast in December 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communication with a public relations emphasis. She also graduated with a Master of Public Administration degree from Southeast in 2011. During her undergraduate years, Alisa was actively involved in her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, and in Southeast’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). In addition, she was a Student Government officer, a staff writer for the Capaha Arrow campus newspaper, and a Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society officer.

In her free time, Alisa enjoys spending time with her husband, Ross, and son, Wesley, exercising, shopping, and spending time with other family and friends. She also enjoys being active in the Young Alumni Chapter of Southeast’s Alumni Association and getting involved on campus and in the community.
